The Hinkley ELD department offers intensive language courses for students in the Entering-Developing levels of English language acquisition. Students also receive language support throughout their day in their literacy and content courses. Students in the Expanding and Bridging levels of English language acquisition receive language support through their literacy courses. It is our goal to provide students with the academic and social language needed to navigate the school day and access grade level content.
