Biomedical Science 
Instructor - Susan Hartley
Order of Courses:
Principles of Biomedical Science (grade 9)
     An introduction to the lab skills and biomedical content, including forensics, patient care and emergency response.
Human Body Systems (grade 10)
      A project based Anatomy and Physiology course, including dissection skills and lab test skills
Medical Interventions (grade 11)
      Students learn lab skills involved in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of health conditions
Biomedical Innovations (grade 12)
        Students earn an ECG Technician certification exam, design an innovative emergency room, design a medical innovation to meet a need, and complete a data based research project
Students are also encouraged to join HOSA Future Health Professionals, where they have an opportunity to visit Rocky Vista School of Osteopathic Medicine and compete in State and international conferences.
